    Is it normal to get a few coturnix chicks that only develop till they are walking then start to go down hill. If not what can I do about it? They don't grow much after the first couple of days, then die at 5 or so days old.. I am thinking it's genetic but not sure.

    Have you ever figured out how feed it takes per quail I am reffering to something like a jumbo brown. till 6 weeks old. The purina bag says .08 pounds for 6 weeks. but doesn't say for which type of quail. We are trying to estimate amounts for raising 50 to 6 weeks. Any Ideas on this?

    I have 7 eggs left of this load. They look solid with normal air sac when I candle. Except one air sac is on bottom. There is no movement of the eggs. Last egg hatched this morning. And 4 floated with only a fraction of egg above water. 3 floated on side. Do I give up?
