    [/img] This hen is one of our survivors. Her back feathers have been pulled due to too many excited roos. I was questioning her gender because of the HUGE comb, but she's definately a she!

    My husband and I are in middle Georgia, and have about 130 chickens: 5 hatched Mar '08 that survived a slaughter in May (neighbor's kid and dogs got 42), ~30 hatched in May, ~90 hatched in Aug... and the first batch of home-hatched bitties: 1 hatched 13 Jan, and 5 siblings hatched 14 Jan...
