He is my only one to go lame. He has been perfectly healthy, not old, right around a year.

I am looking for some show quality Mille Fleur for my 9 year olds to show for their 1st year of 4-H in July. I would like to get chicks. I can hatch eggs. I hatch 40 or so eggs 4 or 5 times a year, just dont have any Mille Fleur.
Right now they will show a couple Blue Laced Red Wyandotte...

When I order chicks from a large breeder, I can get chicks bases on gender (10 female and 2 male) in some cases, not straight run, and they know the gender. When I go to tractor supply or Big R they have pullets that are like 90% accurate they say to be female. Last year I got 5 easter eggers...
