I awoke this morning to find one of my hens on the bottom of the coop. At first I thought she was laying on an egg (she was sitting near where she usually lays her eggs). I checked and found a bunch of smelly poo stuck to her feathers (she must have been there for awhile during the night)...

I talked to the building supervisor to see about keeping chickens. The ordinance in the village has no regulation on keeping chickens but it says that any building/coop used to house livestock/poultry must be no closer than 100ft to the property line.
