    Thankfully my ducks are not dumb!

    I couldn't understand why my ducks were in their house. Normally they are out and about. I pulled their house away from their pen so they could go play. Then I heard it. A Hawk was in the yard, and it was wanting them for lunch! Back into the house they went.

    Deep litter method question (Newbie obviously.)

    I think it's time to add more shavings to my coop. My question is this... Is it ok to ad lime on top of the old stuff before adding new? Also would it be ok to sprinkle some lime out in the run?
