    Dutchmans pipe vine (toxic to chickens?)

    I am looking for a nice vine to cover part of my chicken run. I love the Dutchmans pipe vine but I have read it makes the caterpillars toxic and bitter so birds will not eat them. It doesn't say if it will hurt my chickens or not. Has anyone used this vine?

    Help! I'm new at this and something is wrong with my chickens toe

    I discovered this yesterday. I have soaked it in epsom salt water, slathered in olive oil followed by petroleum jelly. It's safe to say I'm freaking out because we are flat broke and can't go to a vet until Thursday. Any he remedies? Is this normal?! [/IMG]
