    Will Quail use a ramp?

    I made a quail cage with a ramp so they can go from one level to the other.. They don't really seem to be getting the hang of it yet.. Is there some specific angle and spacing of the rungs there should be?

    When should I intervene on a hatch

    I'm not sure if I'll get a response in time... I'm hatching some coturnix quail right now and they started pipping around midnight last night. It's 9am now. The first one I noticed had pipped is still not out. It's just that same little pip it had last night. I'll give it some more time...

    Very Lethargic 2 month old chicken

    One of the 2 month old chickens I put down in the main coop with the others is not looking so great today. I believe she's an Easter Egger? or maybe a mix with one... she has greenish legs. She doesn't seem to have suffered any injury but she's all puffed up and just wants to close her...

    Can you help feathers grow back?

    I have a few hens which had all their back feathers ripped out by an extra ornery rooster. I got rid of the rooster in the spring but it's been months now and the feathers don't seems to be growing back yet. Is there some way to speed things along? Will they have new growth before the winter?
