    Jersey Giant chicks update

    All 12 chicks are small birds now. All have adult feathers. .This chick under my thumb ring in the top pic, and the chick in the pic below looking at my thumb ring are the same bird.

    I hatched 12 out of 18 eggs, on April 9th/10th&11th. They are 3 weeks/3 days old in this pic. Pic taken today May 5th. Day trip to the greenhouse, now bk in the brooder.

    Hey. Anyone from the UK with some fertile Australorp/Jersey Giant eggs. I have a cockerel which is one or the other. I have found some on ebay but no chicken egg it worth £4 / $6.52 per egg . Is it ?? . I live on the Isle of Wight.

    Hey. I have acquired a big dark green cockerel. Googled Australorp & Jersey Giant, they look the same. Big, dark green, dopey, large coarse cone. Can anyone tell me what breed this is. Cheers yardraven.
