    HELP!!!!! Silkie pullet dying :(

    I have a 4 month old silkie pullet who got pecked on the back of her head. Right at the crown of her crest. I didn't find her until the next day after the injury took place, I isolated her and she wasn't eating or drinking, which caused her to get severely dehydrated. Her crop was very empty, so...

    Update on mid-March brood

    Back in mid-March, my wife and I decided to expand our flock. We had 6 to begin with, but then between dog attacks and not knowing about meat birds, we were down to one out of the original six, and two more hens and a roo. So that's now 4. We bought 18 little babies, and I've posted on them here...

    Been raising chickens for about a year and a half now. I have a small flock outside at the moment, but have 18 chicks in the brood box right now and waiting on them to start feathering. Kinda new to the social side if it though, so really interested in seeing what it's all about.
