    Buff Orps as meat birds.

    I have a dozen Buff Orpingtons that i got for meat birds, this is my first go at it and was wondering what is a n average age for slaughter on the buffs. I know they are not as fast growing as the cornish cross, but that is what was available to me at the time. what can i expect from these birds?

    Fencing goats?

    I have a tree line on my property that I was thinking of fencing in temporarily to let a few goats clear it up of underbrush. My Question is would an electric fence of 2 or 3 strands be sufficient to hold them? I dont want to put up a permanent fence soI thought I would ask for some opinions.
