    I got these three chicks in a Cackle Hatchery "hatchery surprise". They hatched the 1st week of May I thought they were German Spitzhaubens, but then the pics on Cackle's site don't have black Hair. I don't know, they just don't seem to fit the bill 100% Could they be Splash Old English...

    My new nipple water system.

    I just made a nipple waterer today. I've had my chickens for less than an month and am already tired of the messy water! Here are a couple pics. A few took to it within seconds. I will see if they all are on board over the next couple of days before I remove the traditional waterer.
