    Chicken stumbling/losing weight/crop not full

I have a approx 4.5-6 month old blue laced red wyandotte hen that I noticed was stumbling, lethargic and appears to have a good amount of weight loss. The older girls started being way more aggressive and she fell over when they pecked at her which is how I started to notice she seemed off. I...

Any thoughts on the sex of my polish? They are 5 weeks old if not 6 weeks. The yellow one, Sonny, seems protective over Elmers. Thanks in advance for replies.

    predator defense?

I am starting to let my older pullets free range when I am outside with them. Today the blue jays started to go crazy in a tree in the next yard over. My chickens got low to the ground under a fern and started to coo or purr almost to the other chicken that was out in the open. That chicken...

My 3 week old polish chicks have become crazy. They run around like I am trying to kill them every time I reach in to pick them up. They are handled daily. They are so terrified that I am afraid they are going to hurt themselves with this over reaction. They run in to the side of the brooder...
