    Roosting bar in coop

    So this is the standard size roosting bar that came with my coop. It seems small to me and I ve read that many people do 2x4 in the coop. I need a roost to keep there feet warm in the winter since where I live can go -30 plus at times. How about a round roost? Thoughts?

    What kind of bedding do you use on pull out trays in your coop?

    Trying to figure out the easiest bedding to use on my pull out tray. Tried pine shavings and they just go everywhere when I pull ou my tray. Any suggestions?

    New water container

    I ve recently purchased a new water container for my 13 week old chicks as a secondary water source And they seem not to be using it. Any tips? Should I dunk there beaks in it?
