    Paint. Latex? Oil?

    We need to seal/weather proof the outside of our coop to keep it from warping. I know chickens will peck at it out of curiosity so what should we use?

    So new at this its not even funny

    I get my chicks next week!! As excited as i am I'm also worried that ill screw up. I plan on working in leaves from the yard into their litter so they're exposed to the germs in our run and consequently their future run. I don't want hens that every time they get a runny nose i shove medicine...

    nest boxes

    Our coop (just the floor right now) is 7x4 and we are trying to figure out dimensions for 4 nest boxes. we're only getting 3 chickens but i want them to have a lot of options lol so they don't fight over the nests

    hello!!

    Hi I'm Kaite and i don't have my chickens yet but got permission from my landlady to get chickens (she has2!) Still gotta build the coop and run then we'll be in business. my husband is starting the coop this weekend :-)
