    Hi Guys, My 6 month old hen is meant to be a FCM although Im suspect. She has just started laying, she did no develop any copper around her neck and her eggs are not exactly that dark. Please let me know what you think. KJC p.s. her egg is on the left

    This might be a silly question...but I'm wondering the colour outcome when Silver Laced Wyandotte hens are crossed with Gold Laced Wyandotte Hens. and also if Silver Laced Wyandotte hens were crossed with a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Rooster. Also are the progeny still considering "Full Bred"...

    Who did this to my 3 5week old chicks ? They were found scattered around their secure shed ... Hidden under things like hay bales... Half eaten ... Some people think rats... Are they capable of taking on these bigger chicks?

    3 Chicks - unknown gender and wondering about breed

    Hi so I bought a silver laced Wyandotte hen and she had 3 chicks afoot. I was told one was a light Sussex, the other a buff Orpington and the third a "mix breed"! Can you confirm please? And also guess at the gender! They are 1 month and 1 week old.
