I got my 6 hens on Saturday and only one of them is laying eggs - one a day. could this be stress from the move? they are all eating well and moving about, seem to be "okay". the pen we keep them in is a lot smaller than they are used to - they had free range where they came from. we live in...- Sharibug

sooo excited!
I get my girls tomorrow and I am so excited. i'm just starting out with 6 hens ranging from 2 to 5 years old. one of my friends is selling all but about 20 of her hen (she will be going thru the "empty nest" syndrome) and won't need all 150 chickens.
