    Nesting Boxes in the run?????

I added two more chicks to my flock making a total of 8. I need one more nesting box but don't have room in my coop. Any thought on adding a nesting box to the run??? I was thinking of using a covered cat litter box for privacy.

    Pasting up question.

Hi All, I have six chicks that I purchased on 3/3. On the 4th two of them were pasted up. Those two still have poop stuck on their behinds but the vent isn't clogged. My question is should I soak and remove the poop or leave it since the vent isn't clogged? Thanks

Do I need a top for nesting boxes??

I am very new to this. We are going to convert a plastic playhouse for a coop. My question is can I put nesting boxes inside or do they have to extend outside one of the windows with a top on it. All the pics I've seen have the nesting boxes extended outside the coop. I don't want to do this if...
