    Can someone tell me what colors these silkies are? Thanks :) #1 #2 (grey w white knot) #3 (on right) he said it was called a "pie" silkie and that it would have a stripe on its back when it grew up??

    Is my sultan a roo or hen?

    I bought this little guy at TSC a couple weeks ago and I believe he/she is is about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks old, is that too young to tell gender?

    can I breed out the hatchery quality in silkies?

    I have a black silkie roo and a partridge silkie hen who's chicks I've just hatched.. They're both hatchery quality and I was wanting to know if there was any way to breed that out of them and somehow get a fluffier chicken?

    LOCKDOWN!!

    I just put the eggs on lockdown!! I'm so excited! Does anyone know when they might start pipping and/or rocking? I've been trying to catch them rocking but I've had no luck. Also, I noticed a spider in the incubator! Is it ok if I leave the little guy in there?

    First time incubating.. On day 7

    I have two silkie hens and a silkie roo who live with 3 RIR, 1 New Hampshire, 1 Sex Link, and 2 Ameraucana bantams .     Black Silkie x Ameraucana cross?

    I have a black Silkie roo and a bantam Ameraucana hen who's eggs I'd like to hatch.. Does anyone have any pics of what the chicks might look like? Mom is grey and gold in front and dad is black roo in back.
