I've been trying to find some adult silkie hens for sale for I don't know how long, and I cannot find ANYONE selling them!!! I've searched Craigslist, Google, all around BYC, I mean really how hard is it to find some silkies!!! Lol. But anyways, I'd like some help with finding some adult silkie...
I have a black silkie roo and a partridge silkie hen who's chicks I've just hatched.. They're both hatchery quality and I was wanting to know if there was any way to breed that out of them and somehow get a fluffier chicken?
I just put the eggs on lockdown!! I'm so excited! Does anyone know when they might start pipping and/or rocking? I've been trying to catch them rocking but I've had no luck. Also, I noticed a spider in the incubator! Is it ok if I leave the little guy in there?

I bought this silkie chick from tractor supply yesterday and I'm confused as to what color it is? It looks white but it's got a grayish brownish tint to it.. Any ideas?
