My chicken is acting lethargic, and is a little puffed up. She has lost a lot of color in her face and her comb and gobble have shrivled up like the blood got sucked out of them, (they are not dry. I was able to message them a little and they took on a similar appearence their natural shape)...
I came home today and found one of my brs dead. Most of her neck was missing but nothing else had seemingly been touched. Is this the signs of a hawk attack?
I have a rooster,(a "hybrid") and a female astrolop, (not sure about spelling), that he loves to make sexy-time with.
whats getting me is that she never sits on her eggs for long, does this mean that he is sterile?
If hes not can I incubate the eggs?
Can you tell if an egg is fertile without...
Today I bought 4 bantams, 3 silver silver seabrights, and a milli fleur d uccle...I think.
They are still fairly young, but I believe the MFDU, is a rooster.
I am tempting to attach the following pics, let me know if they work.
BTW: The brown one has tufts of feathers around his face,(bearded).
