I have one americauna cockerel that I am sure of. I originally had 3 but rehomed the other two. Then I decided to replace with 4 pullets. It appears that 2 of the 4 based on their peacombs are cockerels. However my question is. Why is my original cockerel breeding the other suspected cockerels...
My pullet just started laying 4 days ago and I have gotten a egg a day from her yay!! My question is my cockerel is the same age as her and he is already breeding her is it normal that they start breeding right after they begin to lay eggs?

I was wondering if my cockerel will stay as sweet as he is. He is always greeting me when I walk out side. I normally have him a hand full of mealworms though. Is there anyone else out there that has a cockerel as calm and my boy is? I home as he matures he don't get aggressive on me

My chicks are about 4 weeks old and 4 of them looked like chipmunks. Now they are all turning primarily white. My other 2 are still fairly dark. I'm wondering if this would be an early sign as to what sex they will be
