I expect to have a full egg turner in my incubator and want to use a supplemental calibrated thermometer but room will be tight. Would it be OK for the thermometer to rest on top of the eggs or will that interfere with the movement of the egg turner and possible damage the eggs?
My incubator temperature is not consistent. It will be fine for a few days, then the temp will be a few degrees too high or too low. Do I have a defective thermostat. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
