Can't find any livestock ordinances in Quincy, MA

I've scoured the zoning and all ordinances published by Quincy, MA. All I can find are rules concerning nuisance dogs and their waste. Am I in the clear with a few pullets/hens? I'm getting nervous as they approach the transfer to coop life.

    Itchy 2 week-old Dominiques

Feathers are coming in force. Are new feathers itchy enough to cause the li'l chicks to scratch/twist/hunker down in the bedding and dust themselves repeatedly in the DE/pine shavings? They look like dusty little crazy birds. Close inspections shows no sign of mites or the like, no skin...

5 Dominiques, 1 Wk old: don't seem to want much heat

5 Dominiques. One week old. Brooder box had lights in a hood, temp always around 95F underneath it. Chicks slept wherever they seemed to nod off. I just moved them to a deluxe pen I built, 4'x5', same lights under a hood in one area. Ambient temp is around 80F, closer to 90F under the hood...

MAJOR INSECT hokum and hilarity: 5 Dominiques, 5 days old

OMG! I asked myself, "how long will it take my li'l Doms to discover insects?" How about 1 nanosecond? Corn borer worms and earwigs caused a riot heard round the world. Full circle sprints in the brooder box, the rest in mad chase. Even though one worm was WAY too big for one to easily manage...

should all eggs set at same time show same stage of development?

Shipped "fertile" BR eggs. Day 13. Eleven out of 13 have been discarded, rotten, no signs of development. One is clearly formed and moving. One is tough to see, may have form. Should it also be "clearly formed and moving"? I'm hoping that the one that clearly lives could have a buddy in the...

Chipped BR egg, day 12, dry droplets of gluey stuff on exterior

First time incubator here. Sorry, the pic stinks. It does show the small (4mm) chip in the egg and absolutely shows the dry droplets of glue that look like albumin which have liberally appeared over the shell surface. The bator has taken an odor that is SLIGHT and not entirely unpleasant...
