Here is how we made our duck and goose pond. Black tarp with
rocks and pieces of road paving. The work wasn't quite finished
when the second photo was taken. One side is slightly lower and
allows drain off of duck and goose feathers into a filter. The bottom
will be cleaned out once a year.
We have a second duck sitting on some 18 eggs and a chinese good sitting on something like ten eggs. After watching our chickens develop from three hens and one rooster, it's a whole new adventure!
