15 new chicks have arrived
Today 15 new chicks arrived .. They were ordered from McMurray Hatchery .. here is the breakdown .. New Hampshire Red (6) .. Red Ranger Broiler-males, will be processing them ;( (8) .. Barred Rock (1) .. .. they were shipped Monday and arrived at post office today .. Here is a video of them...- GregT

Egg dropped on ground (have question)
Has anyone seen anything like this .. The 5 hens we have now are about 1 yr old .. started laying last June (2015) .. They are "visual" healthy.. Eat well .. Do not see any issues that we are aware of .. Is this normal- GregT
