    Bantam Gender?

    I was thinking these were both cockerels, and that the one with less comb was simply a runt as she/he has always been smaller, but now I'm wondering if it's possible it could still be a pullet? She/he is in the foreground with the other obvious cockerel, and then I've provided a close up of her...

    This Speckled Sussex (front) has a slightly larger comb than the other large hens. At 7 1/2 weeks perhaps a comb starting to appear is normal for hens too? OR is she possibly a cockerel? I hope not. She is so pretty. Thanks for your input!

    Can someone please help with this gender?

    This Black Astralorp is 7 1/2 wks old and is behaving a bit like a rooster. It's tail is pointed and high but no comb. What do you think? Thanks for your help!

    What gender is this?

    Black Astralorps 7 1/2 wks old. Harder to tell with this breed due to the upright pointy tail. But no comb at all while a bantam has a pronounced comb and is surely a rooster--too bad. Thanks for your help!
