Pipped duckling has turned around inside the egg
Yesterday I was checking on my call duck who was sitting on 8 eggs. one had pipped and I could see its little beak and it peeped at me :-) This morning when I checked on it, it had managed to turn around inside it's egg and enough was showing that I could see it wasn't breathing. Please, does... -

Hi everyone, I'm Tiffysahn and I've just joined. I have had ducks as pets for 21 years now and the obsession has no sign of abating! I have asked a question about a newly hatched call duckling... Newly hatched call duckling isn't moving, please help!
This morning about 9:00 we discovered our call duck eggs had hatched. Mum had left the nest with 3 babies and when I checked there was one more in there. He was still slightly damp so he may have hatched after mum had gone. He was quite cool so I picked him up and put him on a towel with a heat...
