Hi, I'm a high schooler with three rhode island reds and was doing an antibacterial project in school. I am wondering what kinds of bacteria are found in coops besides the typical salmonella and E. Coli. Thank you in advance!
I have already but this in the emergencies forum but I'm desperate as this is the only chick that made it from the 6 eggs I was incubating

This chick was born yesterday and has been in the incubator all night. It was malpositioned and had a saddled air cell (shipped egg). Yesterday it was flailing both legs but now it won't move its right leg. The right leg 'hip' is protruding and is a red-ish color. I pulled it back a little to...
Currently have a pipped shipped egg, pipped very recently (today is day 20). It has a saddled air cell and the chick pipped on the wrong end. Will I eventually need to intervene?? If so, when???
I need some fertile eggs of any breed for a school project (I do have chickens already but no rooster and I will take good care of the new babies too!)
Any eggs available within a couple hours of Des Moines would be perfect! I am willing to pay a reasonable price as well.
I ordered half a dozen eggs from My Pet Chicken and they've been incubating for ten days. I cracked open two, and they were scrambled from shipping. Is this third one even fertile?? (both pics are of the same egg, same side of yolk [the other side was plain yellow with no spots or anything])
So I ordered half a dozen eggs from MyPetChicken and they are going to be here tomorrow.
I know I need to let them 'rest' for around 24 hours with the large end up.
I am going to use a Janoel 12 Incubator for the 6 eggs.
Any tips on heat, humidity, or turning specifically for shipped eggs?
Hi my name is Rabsa and I do not own any chickens (yet) but I DO have one single chicken egg at home incubating right now. Hopefully it will hatch this Sunday :D
