Speaking of managing your flock... Could anyone around the Lansing, MI area use a Silky rooster??
I am an urban chicken keeper and am pushing my luck. Please help!!
We bought 2 Silkies in the late spring. The odds would have it that 1 would be a rooster. We live in a neighborhood and are really pushing our luck. I wish we could keep him as he is a super guy! Thank you to anyone who may be able to help.

I posted a couple of weeks ago about the chicks I purchased that were supposed to be silikies. I was able to find out form your helpful posts that they were in fact mutts and the black one (Shaggy) seems to be a rooster. Could any of you guess what we are mixed with? Thanks for your help!
