    Hens Sleeping in Laying Boxes

    OK,, does anyone have any ideas on how to stop young hens from sleeping in, which leads to pooping in thier laying boxes? My hens should be laying eggs very soon, but I have a few hens that refuse to sleep on perches and constantly sleep in the laying boxes. Thanks !

    Newbie here! Just saying hello. I have been reading info on this site for quite awhile now, and decided to join in the fun! My wife and I currently have a flock of 18 consisting of New Hampshire Reds, Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, and Black Austrorlosrps. Have a great day all !
