My sweetest most loavable pullet might actually be a Roo and I don't know if I have any hope that she is a she.
She sits on my lap, preens a lot, and doesn't seem cockish but maybe that doesn't come until later. Anyways, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Pugly is 4-5 weeks old.
We called her Raven. Hoping not too early to figure out what she is. What we found so interesting is her hackle type feathers never lay down. She totally looks like a raven or vulture when she's perched.
They said she was an "Aquila" but I can't find anything on that bread.
I moved our chicks to the coop last night. It's warmed. They are 4.5 weeks old. Lots of room/food/water etc. 2 of them have bleeding tail feathers? They are all about the same age. Could only be 1-3 days apart. There is a size difference though.
What should I do?
Any kind of meds?
I had a "she shed" that I remodeled to fit a nice coop space for our girls that leads out to a run. This was my first time ever using an electric saw. Kinda proud of myself. using sand and pdz to help with the smell and putting lots of plants on my side.
