    I've heard that at a cpl weeks old you can tell gender by tail feathers. I have 3 black australorps and 1 has very pronounced tail feathers and the other 2 do not. Is this accurate?     Pullets or Roos

    Hello everyone. I'm new on here and new to raising chickens. We purchased 3 golden comets, 3 black australorps, and 2 road island reds on Thursday. We were told they were all hens, but now I'm wondering. Here's a pic of the chicks of anyone has any insight.
