    Found dead in my run with no injuries??

    Long pointy Eggs

    My RIR has been laying eggs like this for months. Just dawned on me that it may not be a hatchable egg with its shape. I have a few in the incubator that I started yesterday. Anyone have any experience with these shapes? Any knowledge as to why this occurs?

    Today is day 23. We went into lockdown on day 18 after we candled them. I remember seeing 2 of them move. After hitting day 23 today we candled them and noted no movement.     5 month old pullet with no comb.

    this young lady and her sister don't have very pronounced combs and they're 5 months old. Is this common? The lady I got them from said they were BR's crossed with another breed she wasn't sure of.

    Welsummer eggs

    I got a Welsummer hen yesterday and expected her eggs to be brown with dark brown speckles. Today she laid an egg and is a darkish brown with white speckles. Is this a normal type?
