    Muscovy ducks

    Well my older muscovy is a Male and it's mating season. He imprinted on humans and tries to attack (mate) with whomever walks outside (usually me) is there any way to stop this? I have a younger muscovy who I believe is a girl but he seems to like humans more.

    Is this normal?

    Not sure where to post this but I had to hose down the underside of my chicken because she was all sticky from sitting on egg yolks and you can see her skin is that a normal thing to see on a wet bird or something else?

    Muscovy ducks update!

    Naerys Targaryen is 12 weeks old now and Finlay is 8 weeks old! Naerys is fully feathered and has no red yet unlike Finlay who isn't fully feathered and has red spots. I don't know what gender they are or if they are even true muscovy ducks they were rescued when they were about a day or two old...

    Signs point to female?

    Signs are pointing to female , pointy tail, walks on feet, fully feathered at 7 weeks give or take and also makes almost a quack peep sound. What to you guys think? I also have a little one that is 4 weeks old that I'm not sure on but shes still young.

    Duck/Drake 1 month update

    Little Naerys Targaryen is approximately 1 month old now and not so little anymore! Still unsure is duck or drake I'm leaning more towards drake though. Naerys loves to perch on my shoulder and follows me everywhere she also loves her week old duckling firequacker!

    Got a new rescue duckling she looks to be at least 2 days old. I have a 3 week old muscovy but don't know how I can introduce them. Naerys (the big duck) keep nibbling firequacker (the little duck).

    New duckling!

    This is my first time raising a duck my sister rescued it from her work (she works at a wildlife sanctuary and they can't keep or release invasive species) they think it's a muscovy mix but it's pretty young to tell. Her name is Naerys Targaryen
