    Egg laying behavior

    Was just curious. How often should I gather the eggs from the nesting boxes ? Right now we have 3 or 4 chickens that are laying but they all dont lay everyday for some reason and I haven't figured that part out. Thanks

    Game hen / regular hen

    This may be a stupid question but I'm new to raising chickens so I have to ask. What's the difference in a game hen and I geuss what I consider a regular hen or laying hen ? I've seen some very pretty breeds of hens and some say game hen. Can someone please explain to me ? Thanks

    So we have 5 8 week old Easter Eggers. One of them was fine last night but this morning were were in there feeding them and she walks around and will eat then while the rest keep strutting around she stops and just lays down. Any ideas ?
