total amateur- ignored "lockdown"!!
I got so excited that it was my last day (day 20) of incubating and hand turning 14 silkie-RIR eggs that it didn't even occur to me not to candle them today! What was I thinking?? Tiny crack and blood!
This is the first time I have posted, and also the first time I have hatched any chicks! My hen has been sitting on 3 eggs (it was 6, but it took me three bloody cracked eggs to realize what was going on and give them back!)
