what influences a hen to lay in the day?
I am curious as to the 'timing' of my girls' laying habits. They never seem to cackle until late in the day. it's now cold and dark most of the mornings, and we turn on a light at about 7-8 am. they still don't start making noise until 3-4 hrs later. and I have a few that like to lay an egg...- BG2heu

I just want a list of chicken needs I can print and go
HEY all you chicken back yarders! Can someone please direct me to a list that I can print out to take with me and share with others? My friend wants pullets, I want to help, language is a issue, but a printed list is not. I know you guys all know where to find the list...ha ha. I can't locate...- BG2heu
