moltiing Rooster in Dec????
My poor papa roo looks like he has mange....I am hoping this is molt. Can you confirm or deny that Roosters can molt in Dec. Cold here but I do have a heat lamp in the coop. Gets down to about 19° or 20°. He just looks pitiful. My husband says to put oil on him??? Won't that just coat him with...- myday502

Help in solving chicken behavior :(
I have not sifted thru all the posts to see if this topic has been covered but I am in need of advice. I have two Roosters that rule the yard! They chase my ducks, and my hen. Will they outgrow this or is this going to be going on forever. We just got 4 more hens....chicks. I cannot let them out...- myday502

Food question
Quick question and thank you in advance.... How often do you feed your duck flock? Can they eat pinto beans? Cooked, along with wheat and whole kernel corn? They also get their flock raiser but they surely prefer the homemade foods! I look forward to your input! -
