    my silkie won't keep quiet anymore

    The start of a new flock

    it's hatching time and the first of hopefully many baby king quail have emerged within my incubator I hope to show off a nice big flock of babies in the coming days This little baby started hatching around 1am and within mere minutes was out and peeping for it's siblings :D

    Odd Silkie behaviour

    I don't really know all that much about chicken behaviour as a whole but my Tobi (White Silkie) shows off some rather amusing behaviour occassionally when cleaning the cage or makeshift run that I house him in....he tends to jump around in circles and flap his wings a few times....it's funny...
