    Popeye turkey

    Hey I need help. This little guy hatched this morning with eyes bulging out. Is there any way to fix this or do I need to put it down? We've had a lot of temp fluctuations in our incubator this hatch due to the heat waves, but the rest have been coming out just fine.

    Too many deformities?

    When is it that you call something wrong with the flock? I get eggs weekly from a farmer to hatch ducklings and so far out of almost 100 I've gotten 2 deformities. One could be explained due to crested being in his flock, brain outside of skull with deformed beak. The other I just found today...

    Brown egg

    I'm excited to see what comes out. These came from the cackle hatchery. First brown egg to hatch and I am stumped on breed. No feathered feet that I can see.

    I got a person's flock for free. They got these as chicks from the cackle hatchery. I have all tan egg layers except 2 and I know it's not them. The brown one throws me off due to the feathered legs

    How can you tell sexes on mixed geese. I got 4 adults and the people didn't know what sexes they were. I'll take better pics in the morning. They are currently in my laundry room so excuse the dirty clothes pile. One of them is part Sebastopol

    Unsure breeds

    these 2 I got with 7 other hens today. They are in desperate need of tlc just as warning. The big grey is a rooster with feathered legs And the white and tan is a hen. I do know her feet look horrible, most have bumblefoot and possibly lice.

    Bigger silkie project

    My silkie girls are with a couple of meran boys. Since the eggs will be smaller should I only expect small chickens the first round or might I get a mixture of sizes despite egg size? This is my breeding project to make bigger silkies since I cannot get full size silkies anywhere.

    Broody hen 30°f at night

    I found one of my silkies deciding it was time to be broody again. I feel like this is not the right time for this. >.> would it be okay to let her hatch these out, or give her some day old chicks? She will not keep that nest there for sure.

    okay. So I have an ee/barred rock x barred rock. Barred rock is the rooster. Will the head spot gendering work for it since both parents have the barred rock gene?
