Does any one here with an ovation 28 find that the cover does not fit flush? It did when u first got it, but it seems over time it has warped a little. Leaves a small gap along the long edge. Does not fit snug to side.
Affects humidity some... for now I put a strip of tape on to seal connection.
When candling early on(day 4), do you ever see veins near air sac but no apparent embryo? As if the embryo is located centrally in the egg and not near the side where it would be visible? I clearly see some blood veins.
i have recently put a Rooster In with my 8 hens. Is it safe to assume he will mate with all of them? I know they can sometimes have favorites, but will he ‘spread the wealth’ so to speak? Thanks.

Hey all. I have the Brinsea Spot check thermometer. On my old Oct 20, I could stick the probe through the vent hole on top. With the Ovation, the vent hole does no go into the main cavity of the incubator. Just into the air flow cavity. How are you Ovation users using this thermometer? Thanks.

I see a lot of people who use those 4ft electric netting fences and wonder why the chickens do not just fly out over them. All chickens I've had will fly out or over any fencing below 6ft or more...
Ok, so I have 36 - 3 weeks olds. Currently in a 3'x4' grow out pen in my garage... Will this suffice until they are 6 weeks when my coop is done and I can move them out doors?
