    Ovation 28 Cover

    Does any one here with an ovation 28 find that the cover does not fit flush? It did when u first got it, but it seems over time it has warped a little. Leaves a small gap along the long edge. Does not fit snug to side. Affects humidity some... for now I put a strip of tape on to seal connection.

    Signs of life

    When candling early on(day 4), do you ever see veins near air sac but no apparent embryo? As if the embryo is located centrally in the egg and not near the side where it would be visible? I clearly see some blood veins.

    What are you all using these days to check your incubators? I have a Brinsea Oct Eco and Ovation 28. The Ovation allows me to set temp. The Octagon has a glass thermometer. I have I Brinsea Spot Check Thermometer, but not sure I can trust it. With the Ovation it reads low, and with the Octagon...

    Ovation 28 Temp Probe Question

    Hey all. I have the Brinsea Spot check thermometer. On my old Oct 20, I could stick the probe through the vent hole on top. With the Ovation, the vent hole does no go into the main cavity of the incubator. Just into the air flow cavity. How are you Ovation users using this thermometer? Thanks.
