Hi,
First time incubating chicken eggs.
So far, I had two that hatched last night and an additional two that are pipped. One has a zipper line and you can see it trying to get out, but seems stuck. The other one’s pip hole hasn’t really gotten bigger. You can see the beak moving.
Questions...

I'm planning to use a dark closet inside of our guest bathroom that we don't really use.
I figure this has the most stable temperature in the house, but it's almost pitch black in there unless I open the door or turn the light on.

Hello! Chicks are about 4 weeks old, but I have one out of the 10 that have a little pimple that has scabbed over. She’s acting normal, eating, pooping.
Should I be concerned? Should I apply anything on it?
Chicks are about 4 weeks old now and are at the point where they can reach their own vent. Does this mean they’re good to clean their own bums or should I still be checking them for pasty butt? They’ve been good for the past few weeks, and I’ve just been trying to be attentive.
Originally, I had my brooder set up in my barn. When I received my chicks, it was about 20 degrees in the morning. I had a couple that were dead on arrival, which was expected, but being a first time chick owner, I felt sooo bad and wanted to mitigate any other risks, so I relocated the chicks...
I ordered all Dominques and received my order + 1 random yellow chick.
The attached picture is at 23 days old. Is it too early to ID this chick breed? I tried to research this myself, and I’m thinking she’s either a Rhode Island Red, or a New Hampshire?
