    What could this be?

    So I was out checking on my flock and looking closely at them bc I was evaluating the injured after a brutal massacre by some predator last night. I came across this guy and I’m not sure what it is. Any info or advice would be appreciated. Feels liquidy, and soft to push on and not hard.

    First time momma duck

    So I have a first time momma duck sitting on eggs. The hatching process has started two days ago. So far four ducks have hatched, but three out of the four have ended up hatching perfectly fine but within 24 hrs have ended up dead. Two of them looked like they were stuck between the other eggs...

    Stage of duck egg- normal or bacteria ring?

    Hey guys! This is my second time hatching eggs, first time letting the momma do it. I have about 20 eggs, chicken and duck, that a hen has decided to sit on. Most of the eggs look great but I just wasn’t sure about this one after candling it. It doesn’t look like a blood ring but is this normal?
