    When it's raining, all my girls go get a drink outve my easter egger's wet beard. They'll walk straight past the drinker to get to that wet beard that usually has a fair bit of dirt included by then. The easter egger who wouldn't win any prizes for tolerance usually doesn't actually seem to mind...

    I have a camera in my chook house so I can keep an eye on what's going on. Often my chooks will come out from laying an egg, walk around the house and pick up either a feather or a piece of shavings, they carry it to the door and throw it over their shoulder before going out! Has anyone else...

    What is ailing my chicken?

    My chicken started doing this yesterday, then seemed to come right till this morning after she ate. This makes me think its something to do with her crop, but I've never seen a chicken with this problem before. She's about 19 weeks old, not laying yet. Haven't weighed her but her weight, to me...
