    Hi, I'm recently retired due to health issues , hubby is still working. We just put the new coop together and are thrilled to have 4 hens to watch. The fresh eggs are a bonus!!

    New here. Hi we bought a kit for chicken coop and placed it in our large fenced back yard.

    Then we bought 4 young hens from local feed store. We've only had them 3 days and we've already had 4 eggs. The youngest which we think is a Rhode Island Red was being picked on a little yesterday by the other three hens who are a little larger than her. And today she's limping with one foot...
