    What to do with all these eggs

    All my chickens are finally laying, I'm gettin between 6 to 12 a day! I need some ideas what to do with them all. We can only eat so many eggs. How long could I store them before taking to a market? I give some to church n family, but I've still got a bunch. Ideas?

    Ok, my chickens roam, so sometimes they get on the porch and like any other bird, goes wherever. The problem I have, if my dog sees it, she eats it, nasty right?! Any ideas how to stop her eating it?

    Heater lamp in the coop

    My chicks are about 4-5 weeks old, they almost have all their except on their necks. I plan to move them from inside the house to a coop next week. Should I put the heater lamp in there with them since it's still in the 50s in the morning?
