    Is this crow normal? (Video)

My guy, Alfred Hitchcock, is a 20 week old LF Cochin cockerel. He has a deflating sound/ wheeze after his crow. Is this normal because he’s still young and new to crowing or should I be worried about a respiratory problem? Thanks!

Breed guess on 10 week old Meyer bin chick?

Still haven’t figured this one out. Darker red than my New Hampshire (I think) chicks. Straight comb, yellow legs, black feathers at the tail and some black markings on the wings. I thought maybe buckeye, but they have pea combs. Let me know what you think! From Meyer Hatchery 3/31 hatch, almost...

    Partridge Penedesenca pullet or cockerel?

Once again asking for help on this one. I’m having a hard time finding good info on this breed and I’m not sure if this one is going to end up to be a roo. It’s from the pullet bin at Meyer Hatchery, but already have one accidental roo from there, so maybe I’m paranoid. Can anyone familiar with...

    She lookin’ like a man…

This is a 4 week old chick I got from the pullet bin at Meyer Hatchery, and it’s pinking up quick. I’m wondering what you guys think? Still early? Is there any hope at all? I’m also unsure of breed, I though Marans originally, but now leaning black bbs Cochin because it’s looks to be wearing...

    Any breed guesses? weird feathers…

Hi all! I think I have two of these chicks, they were plain yellow/buff as day old chicks, clean legs. One has some strange looking feathers. Any guesses on breed? Are they the same as each other? Is this feather pattern normal or something I should keep an eye on? Thanks a billion, I’ve learned...

    Meyer’s Hatchery Bin chicks-ID

After weeks of not being able to get my hands on some chicks, I drove out to Meyer Hatchery on the dice roll that they’d have bin chicks on hatch day. I scooped up 12 and have no idea what they are, but I’m so excited to see what they grow into. Feel free to take a crack at guessing, the only...

    Did he quit?

today is day 14 on my one remaining turkey egg. Two days ago, he was moving around great and today I don't see any movement. The veins look thicker and redder, but not really forming a ring. I'm not sure if he's quitting or not. :( should I give him another day or two and see what happens?

    Is Egg C ok?

I have 3 turkey eggs incubating that I got from a friends heritage turkey. We think she was sitting for at least a day/night before I got them. I candled today (allegedly day 6). Egg A looks textbook perfect to me. Great veining, obvious embryo spot, good air cell. Egg B is questionable, a dark...
