BYC is addicting and has been keeping thousands of chicken loving people from getting anything done. Therefore it needs to be discontinued. Also people have been rightly suckered into spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on animals because of the charmingly cute pictures they have seen...

I am building another coop so i will have to chicken coops and my question is would my hens split into to groups? I'm worried that they might just try to all cram into one... any body else got 2 coops?
I need some ideas for hawk defense... so far i have had 11 of my full grown hens killed and eaten by hawks. + 2 banty roosters. I've been trying to figure out a way to keep them away but havent found the solution. putting up nets is such a eyesore and i don't think fishing line would work either...
