Went to the local feed store and Oops! Apparently, somewhere along the way I blacked out and came home with 4 more chicks. It's been almost 2 days and the husband still hasn't realized it🤣🤣🤣

When I was at the end of my pregnancy, apparently I had a Cemani go broody and hide a nest under the nesting boxes. When recovering from having my baby I wasn't going out to the coop, my husband was (he is NOT the chicken lover of the family). Needless to say the nest kept getting passed up...
I'm up to my neck in eggs. I've given them to neighbors, doctors, teachers and bus drivers. Does anyone sell their eggs? If so, where are you located and how much do you sell your Dozens for? Dozen in a half?
So I need some advice! I have 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes (roughly 2/2 in a half months) and for the the last 3 weeks, I have been trying to integrate them with my 9 other hens. The have been in with them, in a smaller cage (see pic below) at night, every night for 3 weeks, then down in the bottom...
While trying to take pictures of all the lovely feathers Stanley the Peacock has lost, I was being critiqued the entire time by Annie... Find more of my Crazy Chicken life on Instagram Motherofmonstruos
I want to share a story of the last 14 hours of my life as a Chicken Mama!
Last night, I went to lock my 9 ladies in their coop for the night and counted only 8. I started to search the yard and came up empty handed. I checked the garage, the lane to the woods, ditch, side of the road, etc...
Pretty sure my Chickens are spoiled rotten. Got this in the mail today. Nesting box Herbs from Rhodes Creations (etsy). Inside are dried Mint, Lemon Balm Comfrey, Lavender, Chamomile, Rosepetal, Calendula, Parsley, Thyme, Wormwood and Cornflower Petals!
I recently bought 2 cute Silver Laced Wyandottes almost a week ago. I had assumed both were Hens until today when I noticed ones tail is COMPLETELY different from the other. Maybe they're just aging differently? Any thoughts???
My husband's idea at the beginning of the year, was to start raising Chickens. He said it would be good for our boys and for fresh eggs, etc. Well I ended up loving it way more than I'm sure he anticipated! I'm a proud mama of 7 ISA Browns, 2 Ameraucana and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes!
