Hi everyone!!! I am looking for about 6 call duck eggs to hatch. I am located in Minnesota. Is there anyone else here from Minnesota with possibly a few eggs?!
My poor silkie hen got her beautiful crest pecked till she was bald. I suspect pecking atleast. This happened maybe 6 weeks ago and the feathers still haven't grown back. I have been putting rooster booster pick no more on her just to keep her from being pecked to give them a chance to grow but...
This is my first time hatching chicks and I have no clue what strawberry is or gender. "It" has began to Crow but I read that if there are no roosters a dominant hen can take on the role. It hatched March 22
So I am preparing for my second round of incubating and all my thermometers and hygrometers are way off. I have calibrated all of them but they are all different in my forced air incubator. Like way different. So I am wondering what thermometers and hygrometers all you Hatcher's out there use...
I am incubating shipped peahen eggs for the first time today and I am wondering if I should use the automatic turning tray. I've read that it's sometimes a better idea to hand turn these eggs.
Hi there! I'm from Minnesota and it's that time of year again when peahens are preparing to lay. I am looking for a few peafowl hatching eggs. Maybe about 3-5 eggs. I am willing to also pay ground shipping if it's out of the state or a long long ways from Elk River MN. I am also thinking about...

I just need a little piece of mind and possibly some advice. I am scared my babies air sacs are to small and we are on evening of day 17th. I took these pictures just a couple of minutes ago. Are the air sacs okay or do I need to do something quick so they don't drown on hatch day? I have them...
This is my first hatch. I placed chicken eggs in incubator on March 1st at about noon. Is lockdown start tomorrow the 19th at noon? And do I increase humidity at that same time? And do I turn eggs tomorrow morning once before lockdown starts or will tonight be my last time turning?
So we made a homemade incubator out of a styrofoam cooler and put a 40watt bulb thought the top of the lid. My question is could we use a heat lamp instead possibly? I just don't like how hot the cord is getting close to the bulb end
Hi there! I am new here and can tell I am already going to fit right in! I am from elk River and we are planning on adding some peafowl to our little family of guineas and chicks this year. Is there anyone in Minnesota that will be selling peachicks this year?
