Hi,
My SIL gave me her old coop. How do I sterilize quickly sterilize a coop for biosecurity? Her four chickens lived in it up until yesterday.

Is it possible that chickens may carry the Covid-19 virus and transfer it to their flock and flock owners? and vice versa? I am worried about buying chicks from a feed store, where there are people who cannot practicing social distancing when handling the chicks.
Thoughts?
We've been sheltering in place for 5 weeks as a result of Covid-19 spreading in our area. My spouse thinks it would be a good idea to secure our food source by starting a chicken flock. My kiddos joined 4H this year. My kids were introduced to chickens, and were so elated that my spouse gave...
